Ruby was a brave little girl with long brown hair. She loved adventures and today, she was very excited. Ruby arrived at the beach, her eyes wide with wonder. The sun was bright, and the waves whispered secrets to the shore. Ruby spotted her cousin Finn by the big rocks. Finn was seven years old and had long blonde hair that shone like the sun.

“Hi, Finn!” Ruby called out with a big smile. “Let’s build a sandcastle!” Finn grinned back and nodded eagerly. Together, they started gathering sand, each bringing their own ideas to make something special.

Ruby’s eyes sparkled as she spotted a tide pool nearby. “Look, Finn! Let’s see what’s in there!” she exclaimed, her voice full of wonder. Finn nodded eagerly and followed her to the edge of the water. They crouched down and peered into the clear pool.

Inside, tiny crabs scuttled over colorful rocks, and starfish clung to the sides like sticky jewels. “Wow, look at that starfish!” Ruby said, pointing excitedly. Finn picked up a smooth shell with swirled patterns and handed it to Ruby. “This is for you,” he said with a grin. Ruby beamed, feeling happy to explore together.

As the sun began to set, Ruby and Finn stood back to admire their sandcastle. It was tall and grand with towers reaching for the sky. Ruby smiled at Finn and said, “We did it together!” Finn nodded, feeling proud of what they had built. The castle was a symbol of their teamwork and friendship.

Hand in hand, they walked along the beach, leaving footprints in the sand. “I like building with you,” said Finn. Ruby grinned and replied, “Me too! We make a great team.” They promised to meet again soon for more adventures by the sea.
